About the Golf Club
Chiemsee Golfclub Prien is located in Prien am Chiemsee in the Munich & Upper Bavaria region (Bavaria). The facility comprises 18 holes. Golf has been played here since 1961.
Location and surroundings
Chiemsee Golf Club lies on the Bauernberg in Prien am Chiemsee, nestled in a gently hilly landscape with views of the Chiemgau Alpine panorama. Founded in 1961, the course winds harmoniously through open woodland and wide fairways, surrounded by old trees. From the green of the fifth hole you look out over Lake Chiemsee, and already the first tee offers a view of the Kampenwand.
The course
The 18-hole course is rated par 72.
The very well-maintained 18-hole golf course is challenging to play and unique in its scenery; nine of the holes were newly built in 2009. Partly strongly undulating greens as well as bunkers, ponds and ditches shape the game.
Facilities and dining
Training facilities include a driving range, practice bunker and pro shop. The club restaurant serves a weekly changing menu with seasonal, fine Italian dishes; from the sunny club terrace you look out over the Chiemgau mountains. It is open from April to the end of October, closed on Mondays.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 90 € on weekdays and 100 € at weekends. Guests are subject to a handicap limit of 54.
