Location and surroundings

The 18-hole golf course lies on the plateau of the Landwasser valley at 1560 metres above sea level, on the edge of the highest city in Europe. Set in majestic mountain scenery, the facility is located on the "Matta" in Davos Dorf, in the heart of the Grisons alpine landscape. At this altitude, the summer warmth is noticeably lower, and the typical mountain wind provides a pleasant cooling effect.

The course

The 18-hole course is rated at par 68 and measures 4,602 to 5,373 metres.

Opened in 1966, the course designed by Donald Harradine was generously extended and renewed by Kurt Rossknecht in 2010 and is played at 5469 metres with par 68. The mainly flat, lovingly maintained facility offers an atmosphere of alpine and partly urban character, in which wooden barns and log cabins from bygone times provide a contrast to the modern age.

Facilities and dining

Practice facilities include a driving range. The à la carte restaurant "Clubhouse" at the foot of the Jakobshorn serves meat and fish specialities as well as vegan and vegetarian dishes, with views of the Davos mountain scenery.

Guests and green fees

The green fee is €100 on weekdays and €110 on weekends. Guests are subject to a handicap limit of 36.
