About the Golf Club
Golf Club Enzesfeld is located in Enzesfeld-Lindabrunn. The facility has 18 holes in parkland style. Golf has been played here since 1970.
Location and Surroundings
Golf Club Enzesfeld lies 29 motorway kilometres south of Vienna, between Vienna and Wiener Neustadt, in the middle of the forest. Coming from the southern motorway, you reach the facility via the Leobersdorf exit in 10 minutes; the last 4 kilometres lead through the forest to the clubhouse. The hilly landscape and the surrounding forest provide fresh forest air, and tall old trees offer cool shade on hot summer days.
The Course
The design is by John Harris.
After the estate was purchased by Baron Hubert Pantz, Commander John Harris turned the parkland 18-hole course into an 18-hole championship golf course built to international standards in 1964 — one of the first seven in Austria. Old trees, well-kept parkland and quiet fairways shape the holes, some of which have been played in Enzesfeld for 100 years already.
Facilities and Dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping green and pro shop. The Martin Matejov restaurant offers culinary delights in a pleasant atmosphere, and from the charming terrace of the club restaurant the view reaches out over the hilly landscape.
Guests and Green Fees
The green fee is 83 € on weekdays and 98 € at the weekend.
