About the Golf Club
Golf Club Veltlinerland Poysdorf is located in Poysdorf. The facility has 18 holes. Golf has been played here since 2006.
Location and surroundings
Golf Club Veltlinerland Poysdorf lies in north-eastern Lower Austria in the idyllic Weinviertel, set in a natural and wine-growing landscape north of the Weinviertel around Poysdorf. The facility is situated in the middle of a gently hilly landscape devoted to viticulture, characterised by vineyards, meadows and shrubs. Here and there the holes lead past apricot orchards and apricot trees, and from the round you enjoy views over the town of Poysdorf and its surroundings. Right next to the facility is the Hotel Neustifter, in the middle of the vineyards between the golf course and the Kellergasse.
The course
The 18-hole course is a par 72. The design is by Keith Preston.
The 18-hole championship course was laid out to plans by Keith Preston on an area of 65 hectares and is characterised by the gently hilly natural and wine-growing landscape. Doglegs, bunkered greens and a fairway that steps down in terraces to the green distinguish the holes; the course is complemented by a 4-hole public course and a driving range with covered tee boxes.
Facilities and dining
For practice there is a driving range, putting green and chipping green. Located right at the golf course, the Hotel Neustifter treats you to fresh regional cuisine, and from the vineyard terrace you can let your gaze wander over the course.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 77 € on weekdays and 87 € at the weekend.
