Golfclub Eschenried e.V.

Golfclub Eschenried e.V. is located in Bergkirchen in the Munich & Upper Bavaria region (Bavaria). The facility has 69 holes.

Location and surroundings

The Eschenried golf course lies only about 10 minutes by car, or roughly 20 kilometres, north-west of Munich's Marienplatz directly on the city outskirts, where the Dachauer Moos begins, and is just a few minutes from the A8 motorway (Munich – Stuttgart). Surrounded by old trees and criss-crossed by numerous natural biotopes and bodies of water, at the turn of the century the area was a sought-after subject for Munich's artists. The clubhouse is located at Am Kurfürstenweg 10 in 85232 Eschenried.

The course

The 69-hole course has a par of 72 and measures 6,710 metres.

The 18-hole championship course (par 72) is the oldest course at Münchner Golf Eschenried and impresses with old trees, numerous water hazards and biotopes; the soft bog soil is gentle on the joints. With the 542-metre hole 3 it has the longest hole of the facility, whose green is defended by large sand bunkers.

Facilities and dining

For practice there is a driving range, indoor simulator and pro shop. In Eschenried's modern clubhouse, the Eschenrieder Hof — whose cuisine ranges from Bavarian to international — pampers you with a spacious sunny terrace overlooking the golf course.

Guests and green fees

The green fee is €80 on weekdays and €90 at weekends.
