About the Golf Club
Golfclub Feldafing e.V. is located in Feldafing in the Munich & Upper Bavaria region (Bavaria). The facility has 18 holes in parkland style. Golf has been played here since 1926.
Location and surroundings
The golf club lies directly on the shore of Lake Starnberg, set in the historic Lenné park on the western shore. The gently rolling parkland was planned in the 19th century as part of a large palace park; Peter Joseph Lenné designed one of the most significant English-style landscape parks in southern Germany, and since 1926 part of the park has been used as a golf course. The facility offers views of the Alps; tennis, sailing and the Feldafing lido are in the immediate neighbourhood. The club is the only golf course with direct access to Lake Starnberg.
Facilities and dining
For practice there is a driving range, practice bunker and pro shop. The club restaurant with sunny terrace and views over the course and the lake scenery, run by Karina Hatschatrian, serves regional cuisine with creative ideas and is not open to the public but reserved for members.
