Location and surroundings
The golf oasis lies in the Odenwald, only 10 minutes from the Main valley, on the Hesse-Bavaria state border. The surroundings range from the towns along the Main with their vineyards to the woods and hills of the Odenwald and the Spessart nature park. The towns of Michelstadt, Amorbach and Miltenberg with their magnificent half-timbered buildings are very close by.
The course
The 18-hole course is rated at 1,521 to 6,100 metres.
Framed by an untamed forest clearing, the picturesque facility reflects the special charm of the Odenwald. The certified 18-hole championship course with a round length of around 6100 m offers long fairways surrounded by stately trees, a waterfall, rugged rocks, small streams and four lakes; in addition, there is a public certified 9-hole compact course.
Facilities and dining
For practice, a driving range, a putting green, a chipping green and a pro shop are available. In the restaurant IL Vulkano with its beautiful conservatory and wonderful terrace overlooking the facility, golfers and non-golfers are welcome.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is €60 on weekdays and €70 at weekends.
