Location and surroundings

Golfclub Hamburg-Walddörfer e.V. lies in the north-east of Hamburg, at the address Schevenbarg in 22949 Ammersbek. The 18-hole course lies in the middle of the North German terminal moraine and hedgerow landscape, embedded in a park landscape with old, lush trees. From the tall trees there are wide views over the landscape as far as the Bredenbeker Teich, and yet the course remains in the immediate vicinity of the city of Hamburg.

The course

The 18-hole course is rated at par 73. The design is by Bernhard von Limburger.

The demanding parkland course with 18 holes and par 73 was designed by Bernhard von Limburger and renovated in 2015/2016 by Christoph Städler. During the 2015 conversion, all greens and tees were renewed from the ground up, the 10th hole was relocated, ponds were enlarged or newly created and some bunkers were added.

Facilities and dining

For practice, a driving range, a putting green, a chipping green and practice bunkers are available. The club restaurant AC Chefs & Friends by Cornelia Poletto serves guests Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00, and on the newly opened club terrace guests enjoy drinks and food with a wonderful view of the Bredenbeker Teich.

The green fee is €100 on weekdays and €100 on weekends.
