Location and surroundings

Golfclub Mecklenburg-Strelitz lies directly on the southern shore of Lake Tollense, set in the hilly moraine landscape of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The course is located in the landscape protection area of the Tollense lake basin, whose Ice Age-shaped topography is experienced differently on every hole. The facility is located in Groß Nemerow near the B 96 between Neustrelitz and Neubrandenburg, just a few minutes by car from Neubrandenburg and roughly halfway between Berlin and Stralsund; the car park is only 400 m from the federal road and the course is within sight of the lake.

The course

The course was designed by Dr. Köhler.

Each of the 9 holes has a distinctive design and makes use of the natural topography of the terrain; with some difficult slopes, the facility is athletic and demanding, but thanks to its good playability it remains an eventful experience for beginners and guests alike.

Facilities and dining

Practice facilities include a driving range. The clubhouse, open almost throughout, offers golf supplies and a small snack for after your round; quality dining can be found at the nearby Hotel and Restaurant Bornmühle.

Guests and green fees

The green fee is €40 on weekdays and €60 on weekends.
