Location and surroundings
The course lies in Drieschnitz-Kahsel, Am Golfplatz 3, 03058 Neuhausen/Spree, on a site of around 111 ha between the villages of Drieschnitz, Kahsel and Vorwerk. The starting point for your journey is Cottbus, about 100 km south of Berlin; from there the route leads via the A15 towards Forst and, after the Roggosen exit, continues via the B115, Roggosen, Komptendorf and Laubsdorf to Drieschnitz.
The course
The 18-hole course is rated at par 72.
The spacious 2x nine-hole course designed by golf course architect Thomas Himmel covers 45 ha – around 6.300 m for men, 5.400 m for women – and is attractive and, above all, demanding. Strategically placed bunkers, high rough, wooded niches, water hazards and ponds shape the holes.
