The golf course lies in the Ottmaringer Tal near Beilngries, harmoniously nestled in the Altmühltal Nature Park — according to the club, the only golf course in this nature park, right in the middle of Bavaria. The 41-hectare site is divided into 14.9 hectares of intensive golf use and 26.81 hectares of near-natural and compensation areas. The facility is accessible via the A9 Munich-Nuremberg (“Altmühltal” or “Denkendorf” exits) as well as the A3 Nuremberg-Regensburg (“Neumarkt” or “Parsberg” exits), then continue towards Beilngries and Kevenhüll; the address is Ottmaringer Tal 1, 92339 Beilngries.
The course
The 9-hole course is rated par 36.
The 9-hole facility (par 36, 2879 metres) impresses with its natural landscape, well-maintained fairways, varied challenges and gentle hills. The 9th hole plays as a strong dogleg to the right and ends at a green surrounded by a lake.
Facilities and dining
Training facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping green and practice bunkers. The clubhouse includes the Golfstüberl with its large sun terrace, which is open from November to March on request.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 60 € on weekdays and 80 € at weekends.
