Donau Golfclub Passau-Raßbach e.V. is located in Thyrnau in the Munich & Upper Bavaria region (Bavaria). The facility comprises 24 holes. Golf has been played here since 1988.
Location and surroundings
The 24-hole golf facility lies on a plateau open to the south on the edge of the Southern Bavarian Forest, 10 km northeast of the three-river and university city of Passau. It is located on the outskirts of the small village of Raßbach in the municipality of Thyrnau, which also includes the health resort of Kellberg. The surroundings are characterised by fish-rich streams and ponds as well as deciduous and coniferous forests in gentle valleys; wide fairways await on the hills.
Facilities and dining
Training facilities include a driving range. Right by the course, the Restaurant Leo’s in the Golf- und Landhotel Anetseder attracts guests with its panorama terrace and beer garden.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 90 € on weekdays and 90 € at weekends.
