About the Golf Club
Deggendorfer Golfclub e.V. is located in Schaufling in the Munich & Upper Bavaria region (Bavaria). The facility comprises 18 holes.
Location and surroundings
Deggendorfer Golfclub lies high up on the Rusel, in the middle of the Bavarian Forest at an altitude of 840 metres; the address in Schaufling (Bavaria) is Rusel 111. Set against the backdrop of the Bavarian Forest, the view extends deep into the Bavarian Forest — with mountains such as Lusen, Osser, Rachel and Arber. A strong contrast to the mountain panorama is the view from hole 12 across the Danube plain; in good weather, with a bit of luck, you can even catch a glimpse of the Alps.
The course
The 18-hole course is rated par 72.
The 18-hole golf facility is shaped by the mountain panorama; holes 5 and 6 are two consecutive par-5 holes in Californian style with plenty of trees, some bunkers and large undulating greens.
Facilities and dining
The club has a restaurant at the golf course with a club restaurant and a sun terrace with magnificent views.
