About the Golf Club
Golfclub Straubing Stadt und Land e.V. is located in Kirchroth in the Munich & Upper Bavaria region (Bavaria). The facility has 18 holes. Golf has been played here since 1991.
Location and surroundings
The golf course lies approx. 7 km north of Straubing, directly at the foot of the Bavarian Forest and attractively situated in the middle of a local recreation area where water skiing, swimming, hiking and cycling are possible. The flat, only gently undulating terrain makes the facility easy to walk even at an advanced age.
The course
The 18-hole course is rated par 73.
The 18-hole course is a par-73 course over 6,021 metres with two completely different faces: the first nine holes are demanding, with narrow fairways, many trees and water hazards, while the second nine become more expansive. Hole 17 is the signature hole, a par 3 of just under 110 metres with an island green.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, a putting green, a chipping green and a practice bunker. The club includes a cosy golf bistro with a generous terrace and views over the lake, as well as the restaurant Zefiro in the clubhouse, which offers a comprehensive selection from local breweries along with regional and Mediterranean cuisine.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is €90 on weekdays and €100 on weekends.
You can book tee times at Golfclub Straubing Stadt und Land e.V. directly online — all prices, contact details and courses in the surrounding area can be found here at a glance.
