Golf at the house Amecke is located in Sundern in the Ruhr Area & Westphalia region (North Rhine-Westphalia). The facility has 15 holes.

Location and surroundings

The facility at Haus Amecke lies in Sundern, nestled in a valley directly on the Sorpe river, in the charming hilly landscape of the Hochsauerland. Schloss Haus Amecke and a historic mill frame the course at both ends, and the water winds its way through the middle of the facility. Holes 3 to 9 run across flat terrain directly beside the inflow of the Sorpesee, barely 500 metres away.

The course

The 15-hole course is rated 30 (par), measuring up to 4,300 metres.

The 9-hole course measures just under 4,300 metres in total length at par 64; only the first two holes are shaped by the challenges of the terrain, while holes 3 to 9 lie on flat ground, where ponds, streams and the Sorpebach, which has to be crossed, come into play. Sporting golfers appreciate the appeal of the excellent greens and of risk-and-reward golf; the offering is complemented by a 6-hole short course with water and skilfully placed bunkers.

Facilities and dining

For practice there is a driving range, putting green, chipping green and practice bunker. The adjoining Bistro M2 (café, bistro and event venue) serves freshly prepared regional produce with passion; on the sun terrace there are freshly baked cakes and cappuccino with a view of the golf course, and from Wednesday to Sunday a breakfast buffet is served.

Guests and green fees

The green fee is €50 on weekdays and €50 on weekends.
