About the Golf Club
Golf Club Axenstein is located in Morschach. The facility has 9 holes.
Location and Surroundings
The golf course is located in Morschach near Brunnen, above Lake Lucerne. From the facility you have a spectacular view of the lake and the surrounding mountains of Central Switzerland. The first hole plays towards the Mythen peaks, which stand imposingly in the background. The grounds are also home to the Druidenstein rock, which is listed in the cantonal protection inventory and described in many publications.
The Course
The 9-hole course has a par of 31. Stephan Kalt is responsible for the design.
The 9-hole facility with a par of 31 makes clever use of the natural topography: natural fairways, strongly undulating greens and greenside bunkers demand precise play. The course dates back to a foundation in 1904, when one of the first golf courses in Switzerland was created, and was rebuilt in the early 1990s by Stephan Kalt (course design) with David James as consultant.

Practice facilities include practice bunkers. Food is available in the restaurant "Im Golf" or on the clubhouse terrace with a direct view of Lake Lucerne.
