Location and Surroundings
The golf facility lies in the Laufental, on the outskirts of Zwingen, directly on the left bank of the Birs, and is the only golf facility in the entire Basel region. From Basel it is only 20 minutes away, by car reachable via the A18 towards Delémont following the signposting; on foot, the path leads from Zwingen station over the bridge across the Birs. Embedded in the surrounding nature, the facility is aimed at golfers from the Basel region and the canton of Jura. The 9-hole golf course is the home course of Golf Club Laufental.
Amenities and Dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, a putting green, a chipping green and practice bunkers. The public bistro "Drop-Inn" with hot and cold food and a large sun terrace with views of the greenery was complemented on 23 May 2026 by the newly opened clubhouse with restaurant.
