Location and surroundings

Golf Club Ybrig is a little more than a quarter of an hour from Einsiedeln, belongs to the local recreation area of the Zurich region and can be reached from the city in 40 minutes. Situated at 930 m above sea level, the golf course is climatically very pleasant, especially in midsummer, and usually free of fog in autumn. The plain used as golfing terrain is framed by wooded mountains and rocky slopes that form a spectacular backdrop, and the site lies in the midst of the rugged and beautiful mountain scenery of Schwyz. From the elevated greens 11 and 14, the view extends across the valley floor as far as the Sihlsee.

The course

The 18-hole course is rated par 70 and measures 4,414 to 5,675 metres. Course design is credited to Peter Harradine.

The 18-hole facility was designed by the well-known golf course architect Peter Harradine; the fairways run level, and thanks to the topography the course gets by without side slopes. Five play-defining lakes call for thoughtful, precise golf and offer plenty of variety.

Facilities and dining

Practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping green and practice bunker. The heart of the facility is the clubhouse restaurant with its terrace, known for its good cuisine.

Guests and green fees

The green fee is €110 on weekdays and €130 on weekends.
