Location and Surroundings
The golf courses lie between the villages of Elmenhorst and Diedrichshagen, separated from the Baltic Sea only by the coastal forest — depending on the wind direction, you can catch the scent of the sea air. It is only a few minutes by car to the town centre of Warnemünde. The surroundings at the edge of the facility are characterised by forest, meadows and fields; right at the end of the driving range there are also 26 golf apartments.
The Course
The 27-hole course measures 5.060 to 6.173 metres.
A 130-hectare 27-hole facility made up of three 9-hole courses that can be combined in different ways, complemented by a 6-hole short course, designed by the Canadian-born architect David John Krause, who took design aspects from Robert Trent Jones into account. The Henkel & Lares Course is sporty and demanding to play and occasionally brings water into play, while holes 19 to 27 lie sheltered from the wind.
Facilities and Dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, a putting green, a chipping green, an indoor simulator and a pro shop. In the clubhouse, the Restaurant Albatros offers a wide range of food and drinks, and the spacious sun terrace provides an unobstructed view of holes 9 and 18.
Guests and Green Fees
The green fee is €55 on weekdays and €90 on weekends.
