Bades Huk Golfclub

Bades Huk Golfclub is located in Hohenkirchen in the Hamburg & North Sea region (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). The facility comprises 18 holes. Golf has been played here since 2021.

Location and surroundings

The golf facility in Hohen Wieschendorf (23968) lies on a peninsula jutting into the Baltic Sea, nestled in the coastal landscape of the Mecklenburg Baltic coast. The 74-hectare facility is located right next to the holiday apartment area of the Bades Huk Resort, close to the bird and nature reserve; the resort lies between the open sea and the Hanseatic city of Wismar. From the course you can sometimes watch roe deer, wild geese and whooper swans, and you can follow the sailing ships entering the harbour of Wismar. The surrounding nature and the sea bring a unique calm to the course.

The course

The 18-hole course is rated par 72. The course was designed by Christoph Städler.

The fully modernised 18-hole championship course was renovated from 2020 to 2021 by golf course designer Christoph Städler; this created new challenges such as bunkers and water hazards. The undulating terrain, shaped by earlier glaciation, makes the course somewhat hillier — wide fairways, existing wooded structures and biotopes as well as views of the surrounding Baltic Sea shape a varied round for professionals and beginners alike.

Facilities and dining

Training facilities include a driving range, putting green, practice bunkers, an indoor simulator and a pro shop. Right in the resort you will find the Marina Café by the sea, which serves breakfast with a direct view of the marina and the Baltic Sea, as well as the Restaurant Little Italy with authentic Italian cuisine.

Guests and green fees

The green fee is 60 €. Guests are subject to a handicap limit of PE.
