Location and surroundings

The course

The design is by Dr. B. von Limburger.

Designed in 1973 by golf course architect Dr. Bernhard von Limburger, the facility is the largest in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg with 36 holes across the North Course and South Course (par 72/par 61). Mature trees and wide fairways characterise the slightly hilly North Course, along with 11 water hazards; the thatched clubhouse is the landmark of the facility.

For practice there is a driving range, an indoor simulator and a pro shop. In the clubhouse you'll find the rustic-modern restaurant Windfang with its well-known views over the golf facility and the Oeverdieker See; in the Friesenhaus, Trattoria del Campo serves Italian specialities, and there is also the Hollywood Bar.
