About the Golf Club
Golfclub-Curau e. V. is located in Stockelsdorf in the Hamburg & North Sea region (Schleswig-Holstein). The facility has 18 holes in parkland style. Golf has been played here since 1998.
Location and surroundings
Golf-Club-Curau e. V. is located in the Curau district of Stockelsdorf at Malkendorfer Weg 18 (23617), in a convenient location between Bad Schwartau, Bad Segeberg and Stockelsdorf and only a golf swing away from Lübeck. The 18-hole course blends into the typical rolling hills of Schleswig-Holstein in the best parkland-course manner. The facility, which covers around 70 hectares, is run strictly organically in accordance with Bioland standards: reactivated watercourses, created ponds, around 1500 planted fruit and deciduous trees and orchard meadows shape the grounds, where with a bit of luck you can spot herons, storks, cranes or even ospreys.
The course
The 18-hole course is rated Par 72.
The 18-hole course is set in the rolling hills of Schleswig-Holstein in parkland style and, as the first course in Germany, has been run strictly to Bioland standards since its foundation in 1998 — completely without pesticides. There is also a public 5-hole short course where you can play even without a course certificate.
Facilities and dining
For practice, a driving range is available. There is no classic restaurant, but there is freshly brewed coffee and cold drinks; food you bring along can be enjoyed on the terrace or in the clubhouse.
