About the Golf Club
Golfclub Bad Elster - Bad Brambach e.V. is located in Bad Brambach in the Saxony & Central Germany region (Saxony). The facility has 18 holes.
Location and Surroundings
The course lies in Hazlov, in the immediate vicinity of the world-famous spa town of Franzensbad and only a few kilometres from the German-Czech border in the Bohemian spa triangle. Opened in 2003 in the landscape of a nature reserve on the Eger, the facility was deliberately built into a nature park between tall trees and centuries-old forests. Diverse deciduous forests form an impressive backdrop along the holes.
The Course
The 18-hole course is rated at par 72 and measures 6.561 meters.
The athletically demanding 18-hole facility with par 72 and a total length of 6561 meters was designed by the golf designers Peter Walker and Heinz Fehring. On its 120-hectare grounds, it is generously integrated into the gently hilly landscape, and numerous water hazards challenge ambitious golfers as well.
Facilities and Dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, a practice bunker and a pro shop. The restaurant with its sun-flooded outdoor terrace and views of the golf course serves Bohemian specialities and is open daily from 8:00 to 21:00 during the golf season from 1 April, complemented by the popular snack stand at hole no. 10.
