About the Golf Club
Golfclub Dortelweil is located in Bad Vilbel in the Rhine-Main & Hesse region (Hesse). The facility has 18 holes.
Location and surroundings
The golf course lies at the southernmost tip of the Wetterau, one of the warmest areas of Hesse, which is criss-crossed by the renaturalised Nidda. The terrain is flat, rich in flowers and water and very quiet. From Frankfurt city centre, Frankfurt Airport and the surrounding towns, the facility is reachable in around 20 minutes via the A 661 and the B 3, Bad Vilbel–Dortelweil exit.
The course
The 18-hole course has a par of 72 and measures 6,068 metres. The design is credited to Dr. Wolfgang Siegmann.
The parkland-style par-72 course was designed by golf architect Dr. Wolfgang Siegmann. The many ponds allow both bolder and more cautious playing strategies.
Facilities and dining
For practice there is a driving range, putting green, indoor simulator and pro shop. The clubhouse includes an inviting terrace on a pond populated by koi, and the Gourmet-Tempelchen serves as the halfway house next to the tee of hole 10.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is €90 on weekdays and €100 at weekends.
