Location and surroundings
The course lies in Kirschweiler, near Idar-Oberstein and on the Deutsche-Edelstein-Straße, at the gateway to the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park. The hilly landscape of the Hunsrück demands good stamina and varied play, and because of the elevation the wind usually has to be factored in. The view over the sprawling hills is accompanied by woods on the course, fruit trees and man-made water hazards that also give a home to ducks, geese and birds of prey.
Facilities and dining
For practice there is a driving range. The Restaurant 1989 and the club terrace are the meeting point for food and winding down in a sporty, relaxed atmosphere.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is €50 on weekdays and €55 at weekends.
