About the Golf Club
Golfclub Erding-Grünbach e.V. is located in Bockhorn in the Munich & Upper Bavaria region (Bavaria). The facility has 18 holes. Golf has been played here since 1973.
Location and surroundings
The golf club lies peacefully and close to nature on the outskirts of the town of Erding, about 45 minutes east of Munich, on the edge of the Erdinger Holzland. The 70-hectare facility is set in a gently hilly landscape and offers wonderful views far from the hustle and bustle of the big city. From Munich you reach the club via the A92 (Erding/Dorfen exit) and the B388 towards Grünbach; from Erding it takes only about 10 minutes by car. Ponds and streams designed close to nature, including the pond at the 8th hole, provide retreats and habitats for numerous animal species.
The course
The 18-hole course has a par of 72. The design is credited to Donald Leslie Harradine.
The par-72 course lies in the middle of an idyllic parkland landscape, characterised by numerous woods and a healthy mix of flat and hilly holes. Extended to 18 holes in 1990, the course was designed by the Swiss architect Donald Leslie Harradine and is valued for its sporting, demanding holes.
Facilities and dining
For practice there is a driving range and a putting green. In the clubhouse, Fabiola's Restaurant serves Italian cuisine, and the terrace with views of the greenery invites you to linger after your round.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is €80 on weekdays and €90 at weekends.
