About the Golf Club
Golfclub Saar-Lorraine e.V. is located in Saarbrücken in the Rhineland region (Saarland). The facility has 18 holes. Golf has been played here since 2019.
Location and surroundings
Golfclub Saar-Lorraine e.V. is conceived as a German-French joint project: founded in 2019, it aims to be the first golf club to be run under the joint patronage of German and French clubs – “Golf without borders in the heart of Europe!”. The club’s contact address is at Johanna-Wendel-Straße 7 in Saarbrücken; play takes place on the Confluence golf facility in Rouhling, which the club refers to as its golf course. Members obtain playing rights there through membership of Golf Sarreguemines / Bitche Confluences.
The course
The 18-hole course has a par of 73.
The 18-hole course (par 73) in Rouhling offers, thanks to its variety, playing combinations for all types of player: on the first nine holes you often find sloping fairways, cleverly placed bunkers and undulating greens, on the back nine lateral or frontal water hazards and doglegs. Added to this is a generously laid-out practice area with a driving range and several putting greens.
Facilities and dining
For practice, there is a driving range, putting green, chipping green and practice bunker. Club life includes a restaurant on the facility; the prize-giving for the joint club championship was held at the Le Green golf restaurant.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 45 € on weekdays and 55 € on weekends.
