Golfclub Schloss Egmating

Golfclub Schloss Egmating is located in Egmating in the Munich & Upper Bavaria region (Bavaria). The facility has 18 holes.

Location and surroundings

The Schloss Egmating golf facility lies on the outskirts of Munich to the south-east of the city and is quickly reachable via the A8 or A99 motorway; on the A99, the Ottobrunn exit is the ideal turn-off, from there the route leads towards Höhenkirchen/Siegertsbrunn and on towards Glonn/Egmating. Alternatively, you can reach the facility via the Hofolding exit and Aying to Egmating. The course lies between biotopes and woodland, and the holes are well separated from one another by dense rows of trees.

The course

The design is credited to Kurt Rossknecht.

Created in 1991 and designed by course architect Kurt Rossknecht with a love of nature, the facility offers spacious, varied holes with perfectly maintained fairways and fast, true greens; the undulating greens are defended by bunkers or water hazards. Alongside the 18-hole championship course, the Arabella Course with nine holes (par 29) serves as an addition, and the course has twice been chosen for the German Mid-Amateur Championship.

Facilities and dining

For practice, there is a driving range, putting green, practice bunker, indoor simulator and pro shop. Adjacent to the club rooms, the Trattoria “Cristalina” (restaurant “Pizzeria Cristalina Schlossgarten”) invites you to round off your round with Italian cuisine, complemented by the “Pausengrün” snack stop on the driving range between the 9th green and the 10th tee.

Guests and green fees

The green fee is 90 € on weekdays and 120 € on weekends.
