Location and Surroundings

The golf course lies in the charming high valley of the Mindel in the Swabian Baroque corner between Augsburg and Ulm and is reachable via the Burgau motorway exit; the address is Klingenburg, 89343 Jettingen-Scheppach. The facility was created on the parkland meadows around Schloss Klingenburg in the beautiful Mindel valley. Old trees and plenty of water characterise the grounds, and for its environmentally conscious handling of natural resources the club received the double gold award of the "Golf und Natur" initiative of the German Golf Association.

The Course

The 18-hole course is rated at par 73 and measures 5,354 to 6,007 metres. The design is by Donald Harradine.

The 18-hole park, laid out to plans by the architect Donald Harradine, thrives on old trees, many water hazards and pronounced differences in height between tee and green. In the so-called Bermuda Triangle on holes 13 to 15, the two-lake hole 13 forms the facility's spectacular signature hole.

Facilities and Dining

For practice, there is a driving range, a putting green and practice bunkers. The extended clubhouse with its glass terrace extension and up to 140 seats in the dining area includes the Restaurant Schlossgarten, which is currently closed as new tenants are being sought.
