Location and Surroundings
The St. Lorenzen golf course – the romantic golf course of Hochsteiermark – lies in the middle of the Hochschwab massif and the Mürztal valley. The club grounds at Gassing 22 are located in St. Lorenzen/Mürztal (A-8642) in Styria.
The Course
The 9-hole course measures between 2,020 and 2,454 metres. Michael Pinner is responsible for the design.
Founded in 1990, the 9-hole facility with a par of 68 was rebuilt to a new routing after the Murhof Gruppe took over in 2017 and has been playable since June 2019; golf course architect Michael Pinner handled the implementation. Adaptations to the terrain and new holes went hand in hand – and so the romantic facility in the Mürztal valley became a true gem of Hochsteiermark.
Amenities and Dining
Practice facilities include a driving range and a pro shop. Tom's Restaurant serves high-quality dishes in a welcoming atmosphere; it is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There is also a sunny terrace at the clubhouse.

The green fee is 62 € on weekdays and 72 € on weekends.
