Location and surroundings

The Steißlingen golf course lies in the middle of the unique volcanic landscape of the Hegauer Kegelbergland, in the south of Baden-Württemberg and north-west of Lake Constance. The view falls on the local mountain Hohentwiel above the town of Singen. Sparse meadows, ponds and streams as well as orchard trees, woods and hedges shape the natural structure of the facility and provide refuges for rare and endangered animals.

The course

The 18-hole course is rated par 72. Dave Thomas is responsible for the design.

The 18-hole championship course (par 71) with pronounced bunkers modelled on the Scottish style and the public 6-hole par-60 course are the work of golf course architect Dave Thomas. Surrounded by mature trees, the deliberately sparse vegetation, the fairways kept open and the specially designed bunkers with their uniform arrangement are reminiscent of a piece of Scotland.

Facilities and dining

Practice facilities include a practice bunker and a pro shop. The British-style clubhouse houses a restaurant with fresh regional cuisine, whose unique sun terrace offers views of the 18th green, the Hegau hills and the Säntis.

Guests and green fees

The green fee is €85 on weekdays and €95 on weekends.
