The 9-hole course of GC Wienerwald lies in the most beautiful part of the Vienna Woods, between Laaben and Klausen-Leopoldsdorf. Founded in 1981, the facility fills a woodland area opposite the Schöpfl, not too far from Vienna. As the course lies in a nature reserve, wonderful peace and an enchanting natural setting await you here.
The course
The 9-hole course measures 1,940 to 2,156 metres.
The par 66 course over 9 holes was not forced onto the landscape but blends quite naturally into the terrain, following the course of several forest clearings one after the other. Small, sometimes bumpy greens and narrow fairways shape the game because the course lies in a nature reserve.
Facilities and dining
For practice there is a driving range. At the Gasthaus Stegermaier, hearty home-style cooking provides the perfect end to your round; in the beer garden you can relax in an idyllic setting.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 30 € on weekdays and 40 € at the weekend.
