About the Golf Club
Grambek Open is located in Grambek in the Hamburg & North Sea region (Schleswig-Holstein). The facility has 18 holes in parkland style. Golf has been played here since 1984.
Location and surroundings
The 18-hole course of GC Gut Grambek lies in Schleswig-Holstein in the middle of the Lauenburgische Seen nature park, embedded in a typical Holstein hedgerow landscape with old trees. You arrive via the B 207 towards Mölln, exit Alt-Mölln / Mölln-Süd, or via the A24. From Mölln towards Grambek it is about 3 km to the village; the club's car park is about 100 m behind the village exit sign.
The course
The course was designed by Bach.
The course is an 18-hole parkland course founded in 1984 by the Bach couple; its front holes are shaped by the Holstein hedgerow landscape, while the back part leads over long holes through dense mixed forest with ancient oaks, birches, firs and pines. Thanks to the flat sandy soil of the Grambeker Heide, the course is playable even after heavy rain and in every season.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range and a putting green. The club restaurant Vidra serves seasonal and regional dishes – on the terrace with a view of holes 9 and 18, in the winter garden or in the elegant dining room.
