The Inglorious Golfers are the cross golf section of the Köthener Sport Verein 2009 e.V. from Köthen (Anhalt); the group around Stefan Richter and Lars Löhder has been playing the sport there for several years. Play takes place at changing locations around the town, for example on the grounds of the old military airfield, which has been home to the district administration for more than 20 years. At their own tournament, the 1. Cöthener Castle Cup, play takes place in the castle park, where a ball in the castle moat or castle pond counts as lost.
