About the Golf Club
Nitra Golf Markkleeberg is located in Markkleeberg in the Saxony & Central Germany region (Saxony). The facility features 9 holes. Golf has been played here since 1994.
Location and surroundings
The golf course lies in Markkleeberg near Leipzig, directly on the eastern shore of Lake Cospuden and thus on Leipzig's doorstep. In the 1990s, the facility was created in a recultivated landscape that was once an open-cast mining area. The lakeside location is one of the most attractive in the south of Leipzig.
The course
The course was designed by Peter Nitra.
The athletically demanding 9-hole course (par 68, approx. 5,044 m) was designed by Peter Nitra, is certified to the standards of the German Golf Association (DGV) and combines close-to-nature golf with high standards. The narrow holes reward tactical play more than sheer hitting distance; the facility includes a driving range with 16 tee boxes, putting and pitching greens and a practice bunker.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping green and practice bunker. In the cosy clubhouse, a restaurant serving hearty regional cuisine and featuring a large, sun-drenched terrace looks after your culinary well-being; open from April to October, closed on Mondays.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 60 € on weekdays and 35 € on weekends.
