Location and Surroundings
The Golfpark Mieminger Plateau lies at the foot of the impressive Mieminger mountain chain at around 880 m above sea level, Obermieming 141e, 6414 Mieming in Tyrol. The facility is situated on the Mieminger Sonnenplateau; from the course, the panoramic view extends eastwards across the Inn Valley to the Olympic city of Innsbruck and westwards to the Ötztal and Lechtal Alps. By car, take the Mötz motorway exit and continue towards Mieming/Fernpass; Innsbruck Airport is 35 km away, and by train the journey from Innsbruck takes around 50 minutes.
The Course
The design is by Keith Preston.
Golf architect Keith Preston integrated the course with great sensitivity into the 70 ha pine forest; each of the generously laid out fairways gives you the feeling of having the golf course all to yourself. The facility's 27 fairways comprise the 18-hole Champion course (par 73, 6,599 m, with tees framed by stone flower beds) and the 9-hole Park course (par 58, 2,818 m).
Facilities and Dining
A driving range, putting green, chipping green, indoor simulator and pro shop are available for practice. The clubhouse restaurant Greenvieh is the meeting point after your round — for relaxing on the sun terrace and for the especially popular specialities from the charcoal grill, prepared in the show kitchen.
Guests and Green Fees
The green fee is 125 € on weekdays and 125 € on weekends. A handicap limit of 36 applies to guests.
