Location and surroundings
The 18-hole golf course lies to the south of Bochum, above the Kemnader Stausee reservoir in a green belt — an idyll on the outskirts of the city above the Kemnader See. The slightly hilly topography with elevation differences of up to 50 m offers views over the Bochum Ruhr valley; the course blends into old river terraces shaped by the Ruhr 400,000 years ago. The facility is accessible via the A 43 motorway (Münster / Wuppertal), Witten-Heven exit, or from the village centre of Bochum-Stiepel.
Facilities and dining
Training facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping green, practice bunkers, an indoor simulator and a pro shop. The clubhouse, a modern half-timbered building set alongside two old half-timbered houses, and above all its terrace invite you — in a relaxed, close-to-nature atmosphere — to enjoy a refreshing drink and a bite to eat after your round.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 70 € on weekdays and 80 € at weekends. Guests can also play here without a course certificate.
