About the Golf Club
Niederrheinischer Golfclub e.V. Duisburg is located in Duisburg in the Ruhr Area & Westphalia region (North Rhine-Westphalia). The facility features 9 holes in parkland style. Golf has been played here since 1956.
Location and surroundings
Niederrheinischer Golfclub has been located in the south of Duisburg since 1956, in Großenbaum near the regatta course in the middle of the 6-Seen-Platte recreation area. The 9-hole golf facility is surrounded by old trees and set in well-tended parkland on the edge of the Sechs-Seen-Platte. The grounds emerged from the former Demag site in Großenbaum. Located at Großenbaumer Allee 240, the club offers very good transport links and is quick to reach.
The course
The course was designed by H.E. Gaertner.
The facility laid out to the plans of golf course architect H.E. Gaertner has a parkland character. Old trees, bunkers and two water hazards demand precise play; the course is particularly demanding from the back tees, as documented by a course rating of 72.0 for men and 73.6 for women as well as a slope of 133 and 132.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, practice bunker and pro shop. The Restaurant & Café ENA run by the Crepulja family caters to members and green fee players, with a terrace and a view of the golf course, and also offers external catering.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 80 €. Guests are subject to a handicap limit of 36.
