About the Golf Club
Burgdorfer Golfclub is located in Ehlershausen in the Weser-Ems & Bremen region (Lower Saxony). The facility comprises 24 holes.
Location and surroundings
Burgdorfer Golfclub lies between Hanover and Celle on the outskirts of Ehlershausen, on mixed woodland terrain around the Ehlershausener Pahlberg. The 65-hectare woodland landscape offers an oasis of calm, far away from road, rail and aircraft noise. The 24 holes are partly located in mixed woodland; the course is sheltered from the wind, very well drained and dries out very quickly, which is why it is almost always playable.
The course
The 24-hole course is rated par 73.
The 18-hole championship course with par 73 (total length 6,204 m for men, 5,354 m for ladies) runs through largely flat terrain, is lined in many places with pines, oaks and birches and presents a fair challenge for demanding golfers and newcomers alike. The first nine holes were designed by Gerd Bruns; the 6-hole short course and holes 14 to 16 were created according to plans by golf course architect Christoph Städler.
Facilities and dining
Training facilities include a pro shop. Mira’s Restaurant in the clubhouse has an idyllic terrace with a view over the lush green golf course and serves international cuisine.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 70 € on weekdays and 85 € at weekends. Guests are subject to a handicap limit of -54.
