Golf Gleidingen (Golf51)

Golf Gleidingen is located in the Gleidingen district of Laatzen in the Hanover region and belongs to the Golf51 golf facility. Opened in 1998, the championship facility in links style comprises 27 holes on three 9-hole loops; it is complemented by a 6-hole short course that may also be played without a course certificate.

Location and Surroundings

The facility is conveniently located in the flat land south of Hanover — from the city centre, the course is reached in around 15 minutes. The open, level terrain is characterised by expansive water hazards: right by the clubhouse, the ninth hole plays along a lake — a finishing stretch that extends all the way to the terrace.

The Course

The three loops Blue, Green and Red can be combined into different 18-hole rounds — depending on the combination, the championship course measures 5,955 to 6,121 metres from the white tees at par 72. Architect David Krause has combined classic links design with modern architecture: gentle undulations, large waste bunkers and strategically placed water hazards. The signature hole is the 8th of the Green Course with its island green. If you prefer it shorter, choose the 9-hole round or the 6-hole short course.

Facilities and Dining

For practice, a driving range, putting and chipping greens, a practice bunker and an indoor simulator are available; the pro shop rounds off the offering. Your dining is taken care of by the restaurant "Stableford" with its terrace; the caddie hall serves as an event space.

Guests and Green Fees

The day green fee for 18 holes is €90 on weekdays and €100 on weekends; the 9-hole round costs €60 and €65 respectively, the short course €35 and €40. The championship course requires a course certificate (handicap up to 37) — the short course, by contrast, is open without advance booking and without a course certificate. A dress code applies: golf attire with a collar, no jeans or T-shirts.
