The Golf und Country Club Leinetal Einbeck e. V. is the friendly golf club with heart in southern Lower Saxony; its golf facility is located in Immensen. The site offers wonderful distant views over the Leinetal; ponds, hills and a small wood shape the grounds. The near-natural course maintenance also benefits the feathered guests, for whom starling boxes are provided on the course.

The 18-hole course is rated Par 71.
The 18-hole facility was completed in 2013; its last six holes were designed by golf course architect David Krause. The well-maintained course is designed for all skill levels and leads with demanding holes over hills, past ponds and through doglegs with bunkers.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range and practice bunker. The Golfstüberl, an Austrian mountain hut in the middle of the Leinetal, offers sweeping views to the west as far as the Solling from its spacious terrace, and on the other side across the Leinetal to the Harz.
