Golfclub Harz

Golfclub Harz is located in Bad Harzburg in the Hamburg & North Sea region (Lower Saxony). The facility has 18 holes. Golf has been played here since 1969.

Location and surroundings

The golf course lies on the edge of the Harz, in the middle of the spa town of Bad Harzburg, combining town and nature in a small space. The grounds are characterised by old trees, gentle ridges and wide views over the Harz foothills. On hole 14, a game enclosure adjoins the course, where deer and roe deer can be seen and heard.

The course

The 18-hole course is rated at par 72.

The varied, natural 18-hole course (par 72) is shaped by old stands of trees, four ponds and numerous streams, which demand precise play. A special feature is the gallop racecourse integrated into the course, whose flat track and steeplechase course cross holes 7, 8 and 10.

Facilities and dining

For practice, a driving range and a pro shop are available. The round ends at the 18th directly next to the clubhouse terrace, where the restaurant invites you to linger with Mediterranean delicacies and views of the course.
