About the Golf Club
St. Lorenz Elm Golf (i.L.) is located in Schöningen in the Hamburg & North Sea region (Lower Saxony). The facility has 11 holes.
Location and surroundings
The St. Lorenz golf and country club is located in Schöningen right at the Klostergut St. Lorenz, whose listed farm buildings were built from Elm limestone many hundreds of years ago. The course runs across gently hilly terrain above the town, directly at the Elm forest. From numerous spots, wide views open up towards Saxony-Anhalt and the Harz mountains. Species-rich fauna, old woodland and the peaceful landscape shape every round of golf.
The course
The 11-hole course is rated at par 74.
The St. Lorenz course is a par 74 course that is currently played over 9 holes until the new 18-hole facility is completed. The characteristic hilly landscape shapes the course; the new 9-hole short course with its par 3 holes encircles the new driving range and offers varied play.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping green, practice bunker and indoor simulator. The main restaurant “Kloster-Krug” with its restaurant and club terrace is located in the clubhouse; the beer garden of the outdoor dining area lies directly in the monastery garden.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is 55 € on weekdays and 65 € on weekends.
