Golfclub Rittergut Hedwigsburg eV.

Golfclub Rittergut Hedwigsburg eV. is located in Kissenbrück in the Hamburg & North Sea region (Lower Saxony). The facility has 18 holes. Golf has been played here since 1994.

Location and Surroundings

The facility lies close to nature near Kissenbrück on the 60 ha grounds of the Rittergut Hedwigsburg estate, which the owning family still farms to this day. From many parts of the course you get an impressive panorama of the ridges of the Harz and the Oker valley, the Elm and the Asse, joined through the seasons by blossoming fruit trees, field hedgerows and the patchwork of the surrounding fields. From the tee of the "Brockenbahn", in clear weather the view opens up over the ridges of the Harz, and on the ninth hole the panorama reaches across the Oker valley.

The Course

The 18-hole course is a par 73 and measures 5.491 to 6.094 metres.

The 18-hole course (par 73, 6094 m long from the yellow tees) follows the maxim "encouraging for beginners, challenging for advanced players" – varied terrain, intelligent hole routing and tricky greens ensure that no two rounds are the same. Water, bunkers and out-of-bounds lines defend several greens, and the round leads in places steeply uphill and down again to the lowest point of the course.

Facilities and Dining

Practice facilities include a driving range, a putting green, a chipping green and a practice bunker. The clubhouse houses the Restaurant Schöne Aussicht and the clubhouse terrace; the club restaurant is leased to Golf Restaurant Kissenbrück GmbH.

Guests and Green Fees

The green fee is €75 on weekdays and €85 on weekends. The handicap limit for guests is 54.
