About the Golf Club
Golf Club Buchholz-Nordheide e.V. is located in Buchholz in der Nordheide in the Hamburg & North Sea region (Lower Saxony). The facility has 18 holes.
Location and Surroundings
Golf Club Buchholz-Nordheide e.V. lies in the Nordheide and is characterised by its harmonious setting in the picturesque landscape of the Nordheide. Ponds and bodies of water shape the grounds: hole 8 features a large pond, with further waters at hole 1 and at the end of hole 9. The grounds are home to a remarkable amphibian diversity of at least seven species, including the moor frog, the agile frog and the great crested newt, and an adder has also been found. At the edge of the heathland, purpose-built piles of stones and wood provide habitat for reptiles, beetles and other insects.
The Course
The 18-hole course is a par 72.
The course is completely flat and does not have a single hill, yet it is described as excellently maintained. Hole 8, with its pond and the surrounding areas, is increasingly becoming the nature highlight of the facility.
Facilities and Dining
Practice facilities include a driving range and a pro shop. The restaurant "Greens" focuses on seasonal and regional produce, and its terrace, with views over the golf course and the surrounding landscape, is considered the most beautiful in the Nordheide.
Guests and Green Fees
The green fee is €85 on weekdays and €95 on weekends.
