About the Golf Club
Golf Club Matterhorn is located in Randa. The facility features 9 holes in parkland style. Golf has been played here since 1990.
Location and surroundings
Golf Club Matterhorn is located between Täsch and Randa, just a few minutes before Zermatt, at 1’420 m above sea level at the foot of the Matterhorn. The alpine parkland course stretches across flat land with water hazards and panoramic views of the Matterhorn. The facility is easy to reach by car, train or hotel shuttle.
The course
The 9-hole course is rated par 36.
Designed by the Scottish architect John Chilver-Stainer, the course follows the 9-hole-plus concept with 9 greens and 18 tee boxes, so the full 18-hole experience fits into a compact area. The technically and tactically demanding layout runs across flat, alpine terrain with six water hazards and well-kept fairways.
Facilities and dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, chipping green, practice bunker and pro shop. The Golf@Paradise restaurant combines creative cuisine with regional ingredients and a sunny terrace with views of the Klein Matterhorn; there are 90 indoor seats plus a south-facing, wind-sheltered terrace measuring 50 m² for 40 guests.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is €65.
