Location and Surroundings
The 56-hectare facility lies in Bad Salzuflen between the Teutoburg Forest and the Wiehen Hills, in the middle of a protected landscape in the East Westphalia-Lippe region. Mature trees of the municipal forests and a hilly parkland shape the grounds, which border the forest of the Landesverband Lippe and offer a wide variety of different trees and shrubs.
The Course
The 18-hole course is rated at par 72. The course was designed by Dr. Bernhard von Limburger.
Built in 1956 as what was then Germany's 39th golf club, the facility still bears the signature of golf course architect Dr. Bernhard von Limburger on holes one to nine and was extended to 18 holes in the 1980s. The hilly parkland course is demanding, with water hazards on holes 3, 11, 15 and 18 as well as mature trees such as a lime tree over 250 years old on hole 17.
Facilities and Dining
Practice facilities include a driving range, a putting green, a chipping green and a pro shop. The catering team serves daily changing dishes on the lovely sun terrace or in the cosy clubhouse.
Guests and Green Fees
The green fee is €60 on weekdays and €70 on weekends. A handicap limit of 54 applies to guests.
