Golf- & Landclub Schloss Liebenstein e.V. is located in Neckarwestheim in the Stuttgart & Baden-Württemberg region (Baden-Württemberg). The facility has 27 holes. Golf has been played here since 1982.
Location and Surroundings
Golf- & Landclub Schloss Liebenstein is located in Neckarwestheim near Heilbronn, on the grounds of the Domäne Liebenstein estate. With around 120 hectares, the club is one of the largest golf clubs in Baden-Württemberg. The holes lie between stretches of woodland, vineyards and the castle, along the Talbach and Seebrunnenbach streams and high up on the plateau of the Liebensteiner Feld.
The Course
The course was designed by Donald Harradine.
The 27-hole championship course consists of three courses, no two alike, each with its very own appeal: the Schloss course (Blue) and the Weinberg course (Red) were drawn by Donald Harradine, while the newer Liebenstein course (Yellow) was designed by Karl F. Grohs. The immaculately maintained playing grounds offer excellent, widely known greens and generously laid out practice facilities.
Facilities and Dining
Practice facilities include a driving range and a pro shop. In the atmospheric clubhouse, the restaurant Pane e vino takes care of the culinary offering daily from 11:00 to 22:00, complemented by the well-kept terrace with its charming pavilion.
Guests and Green Fees
The green fee is €80 on weekdays and €100 on weekends.
