The 9-hole facility lies in the middle of the green belt of Linz, close to the city on the outskirts of Linz in Pichling and just one par 5 away from the tram terminus (Solarcity). The course is surrounded by floodplain forests; a garden-like park landscape with old beeches, birch avenues, pines and shrub groups reminiscent of southern Tuscany shapes its character. The course
The 9-hole course has a par of 35.
The demanding, immaculately maintained facility is laid out as a garden-like park landscape; well-defended greens protected by bunkers and the pond at the ninth green demand precise shots. Since the entire course is flat, it is comfortable to play, yet it still calls for clever golf from players of all skill levels.
Facilities and dining
For practice there are practice bunkers. The club restaurant Mete´s Golfstüberl (Auhirschgasse 52, A-4030 Linz) serves hearty home-style cooking, and the large terrace invites you to relax.
