About the Golf Club
METZENHOF - Golf is located in Kronstorf. The facility has 18 holes.
Location and surroundings
The facility is located in Kronstorf, between the towns of Enns and Steyr and in a central location near Linz in Upper Austria. Gentle hills, meadows and ponds shape the landscape around the course. The grounds include a natural pond with a sunbathing lawn as well as the beer garden under the chestnut trees.
The course
The design is by Hans Georg Erhardt.
The ultra-modern 18-hole course blends harmoniously into the landscape with gentle hills, ponds and numerous bunkers; the design comes from golf course architect D.I. Hans Georg Erhardt. As a training centre of the PGA of Austria, particular emphasis is placed on the practice facilities, with a partly covered driving range and a 3-hole short course.
Facilities and dining
For practice there is a driving range, putting green, chipping green, practice bunkers, an indoor simulator and a pro shop. Alongside the cosy inn with its beer garden under the chestnut trees, there is the Bar 71 with views of the golf course.
Guests and green fees
The green fee is €100 on weekdays and €110 at the weekend.
